The 2023 Adirondack Wine & Food Festival will be held Saturday, June 24, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, June 25, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Festival Commons in Charles R. Wood Park. This year’s Festival promises to be the largest ever with new features and more vendors. Since its inception in 2015, attendance at the annual event has more than tripled, drawing visitors from 36 states, and it has become one of the Northeast’s most celebrated wine and food events.
Organizers anticipate that more than 7,800 people will attend the 2023 Adirondack Wine & Food Festival to sample and purchase products from more than 120 New York wineries, distilleries, breweries, cideries, artisan food producers, food trucks and crafters. “Our vendors hand-craft, so many unique products you won’t find anywhere else,” says Adirondack Festivals Owner Sasha Pardy. “It’s fun to try something new, and it feels great to support local artisans by bringing your newfound favorites home with you.” An updated list of confirmed vendors may be found at adkwinefest.com.
A “Food Truck Alley” of 15 food trucks will be set up outside the Festival Grounds gates along Elizabeth Little Boulevard (formally West Brook Road) representing a major expansion of the festival. Also new for 2023 will be a biergarten operated by Adirondack Brewery. Festival attendees will be able to purchase full glasses of Adirondack Brewery and Mean Max craft beers as well as full glasses of Adirondack Winery wine.
“With this expansion,” says Pardy, “attendees will enjoy more space on the festival grounds with access to more vendors than ever. We are also providing free public access to Food Truck Alley for our guests who just want a bite to eat but may not be able to or wish to enter the ticketed festival grounds.”
A popular festival feature, the Taste NY Culinary & Cocktail Tent, will be back with food and cocktail preparation demonstrations and competitions that will feature ingredients supplied by Festival vendors. Festival entertainment will include a two-day lineup of solo musicians, the Street Magic of TJ Clancy, stilt walking and aerial work of Jessica Black, children’s activities and a photo booth.
Tickets may be purchased at the gate; however, VIP and Saturday tickets tend to sell out early. Tickets are available online at the 2023 Adirondack Wine & Food Festival website. The Festival offers a discount to local residents on all advance purchases of Sunday tickets.
