Funky Ice Fest
Adirondack Pub & Brewery turns the ice bar concept into a festival of ice sculptures including ice games and musical instruments carved from ice. The festival features the brewery’s craft beers, cocktails made from locally produced spirits and food specials. This is a family-friendly event. There is no charge for entry.

Thousands of icicles, hand-sculpted and arranged by a team of artists, form a glittering, LED-lit display of caverns, tunnels, slides, fountains and towers reaching 20-25 feet high. Lake George Winter Carnival
Headquarters in Shepard Park
The 2023 Lake George Winter Carnival opens February 4 with Opening Ceremonies in Shepard Park at noon. The Carnival’s signature event, the outhouse races will follow in Battlefield Park on Beach Road. Opening Day parade steps off at 4 p.m.
The Lake George Winter Carnival includes races (on the ice if the Lake is frozen), cook-offs, children’s activities, bonfires, fireworks, dog talent shows, polar plunges and much more. Thurman Maple Days
Each spring, Thurman sugar houses open their doors to visitors the last three weekends of March. Learn about sap collection and maple syrup production. Sample maple goods and shop for farm products and artisan wares. Visit the Thurman website for a map, directory and more information.

Memorial Day Weekend- Honoring the men and women who have died serving our country
Saturday, May 27, the American Legion Post 374 Memorial Day Parade steps off at 11:30 a.m. from West Brook Road and travels along Beach Road and Canada Street to Shepard Park. The parade will be followed by a Memorial Day service in the park.
Monday, May 29, The Lake George Battlefield Park Alliance will be holding a Memorial Day Remembrance Service at the Grave of the Unknown Soldiers in Battlefield Park. The ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m. The Battlefield Park Visitor Center will be open 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Americade Motorcycle Rally
Americade has grown to be the largest multi-brand touring motorcycle rally in the world. The week features demos, vendors, clinics, shows and guided tours through the Adirondacks. Visit the Americade website for more information and registration.

The Steamboat Company is donating 25 percent of this year’s Rock the Dock proceeds the Lake George American Legion Post 374. Tickets are available online at the Rock the Dock website.

This three-day music festival is a fundraiser for Kelly’s Angels, a not-for-profit that provides grants to New York Capital Region children who have lost a parent or sibling to cancer or other illnesses.

Community bands from across the Northeast and Canada perform in Shepard Park during this festival hosted by the Lake George Community Band. This is the largest band festival of its kind in the Northeast. Admission is free. Check back for a schedule of bands performing.

Adirondack Independence Music Festival
Billed as Lake George’s biggest party of the year with reason. This three-day festival celebrates the end of summer with non-stop music from premier touring bands. Adirondack Nationals Car Show
Brought to Lake George each year by Albany Rods & Kustoms, the Adirondack Nationals Car Show features 1,500+ lovingly restored vintage autos, muscle cars and other pre-1972 vehicles. The car show is held on the grounds of the Fort William Henry Hotel and the Festival Commons in Wood Park. A highlight of the show is the Friday and Saturday night Car Crusin’ when owners of registered vehicles drive a continuous loop through Lake George Village to a cheering crowd. 3rd Annual Fall Fest – Craft and Vendor Fair

Nearly 100 vendors will fill the barn, saloon and yard at The Barn at French Mountain. Lite Up The Village

Music begins 4:30 p.m. Lighting, parade, fireworks at 6 p.m. The Village of Lake George ushers in the holiday season with a holiday sing-along, a lighted fire truck parade, fireworks, and the lighting of thousands of colorful holiday lights in Shepard Park and Blais Park. The festivities begin in Shepard Park and move to the Lake George Firehouse on Ottawa Street for visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus and a concert of holiday music by the Lake George Community Band.
