Adirondack Independence Music Fest to jam Labor Day Weekend

It’s touted as Lake George’s biggest party of the year. The Adirondack Independence Music Festival is returning to the Festival Commons in Wood Park with nearly two dozen bands August 30 – September 1.  This is the ninth year for the multi-band event that features a lineup of premiere touring bands currently on the festival circuit.

Upstate New York jam band moe. Is headlining the festival performing two sets on both Saturday and Sunday nights. Melvin Seals & JGB will headline Friday night with two sets.

The non-stop music starts Friday at 1 p.m., noon on Saturday and Sunday, and continues each night through 11 p.m. on two stages. Look towards the lake Saturday night for fireworks. The festival also features a variety of food and craft vendors. Metered parking is available on surrounding streets and in public parking lots at $2 per hour.
