The Americade Motorcycle Rally rolls into Lake George the first full week of June. For 2018, organizers have kicked up the entertainment a few notches by moving their concert series, previously held in Wood Park, to the middle of Canada Street for a two-day party. Friday, June 8 and Saturday, June 9, traffic will be diverted off the main drag between Montcalm and Amherst Streets to make room for a vendor marketplace, motorcycle stunt shows, a beer and wine tent featuring Adirondack Brewery craft brews and a giant stage.
In all, nine bands will perform with motorcycle stunts shows by Phil Smage Stunts and Busted Knuckles Stunt Tour filling in during set breaks. Friday night’s performances will be followed by a fireworks display. The Vendors Marketplace will be open 2 – 7 p.m. both days. The craft beer and wine tent will be serving 2 – 9 p.m. Admission to the Americade Block Party and Concert Series is free and open to the public.

Most major motorcycle manufacturers are represented at Americade and several offer demo rides. Looks like fun so nice of Americade to do an event like this which is more geared to the locals to enjoy.
I look forward to the music especially.
