Bands-n-Beans returns with 9 bands and 25 pots of chili

The Lake George Arts Project will be hosting its 31st Annual Bands-n-Beans on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at the Fort William Henry Conference Center, 48 Canada Street, Lake George. The doors to the acoustic room open at 1:30 p.m.; the Grand Ballroom opens at 1:45. The event continues through 7 p.m.

Proceeds from Bands-n-Beans help fund the Arts Project’s many programs, which include a free summer concert series in Shepard Park, Jazz at the Lake and art programs such as the year-round Courthouse Gallery exhibitions.

 Twenty-five local restaurants will be serving up their best chili recipes competing for the People’s Choice Award. Nine area bands are performing at the event.

In the Acoustic Room
1:30 p.m. Tim W. and Friends – Tim Wechgelaer and his friends kick off the party
2:30 p.m. Mark & Jill – roots, blues and Americana
3:30 p.m. Shine On – soft rock, country, folk and blues
4:30 p.m. Dirt Cheap – classic rock

On the Ballroom stage
2-2:45 p.m. The Switch – blues, funk, Rock n’ Roll
3-3:45 p.m. The Stony Creek Band – a blend of rock, folk, country and bluegrass
4-4:45 p.m. The Lustre Kings – rockabilly
5-5:45 p.m. Vinyl Vault – a cover band with music from every genre
6-6:45 p.m. The Ill Funk Ensemble — hip-hop, soul and R&B

Early-bird tickets are available online through March 29 at $25. Tickets are $30 at the door. Tickets include all the chili you can handle and five hours of live music and dancing. Alcoholic and soft drinks will be available at cash bars throughout the venue.

Parking is available in the Fort William Henry Parking lot with overflow parking across the street. The Conference Center is at the Southern end of the property.
