For those who love dogs and craft beverages. All well-behaved, leashed dogs welcome. Dozens of food and merchandise vendors, live music, craft brews and local wines. Grand Opening Lake George Battlefield Park Visitor Interpretive Center
75 Fort George Road
Work is completed on the new building and The DEC and Lake George Battlefield Park Alliance are inviting the public to join in a grand opening celebration. The VIC will feature artifacts and exhibits, art and video highlighting the park’s history.
3:30 pm – 4:00 pm Welcoming remarks from representatives of DEC, Lake George Battlefield Park Alliance, and Lake George Park Commission, followed by an official ribbon cutting.
4:30 – 6:30 p.m. Open House

Memorial Day parade and ceremony
Hosted by the Lake George American Legion Post 374. The parade steps off at 11:30 a.m. from West Brook road and travels along Beach Road and up Canada Street to Shepard Park. A Ceremony will follow in the park.

Americade Motorcycle Rally

LEO Weekend

Law Enforcement Officers Weekend offers active and retired officers including (but not limited to) Police, Deputy Sheriffs, Federal Agents, Corrections, Probation, Parole, Peace Officers, Prosecutor/District Attorney’s Office, etc. a weekend of seminars, relaxation and camaraderie at the Fort William Henry Hotel and venues throughout Lake George. LG Volunteer Fire Department Summerfest
Artisans and crafters from all over the New York region fill Shepard Park for this festival hosted by the Lake George Volunteer Fire Department. Food and Children’s activities.
Friday & Saturday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Sunday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Adirondack Wine & Food Festival

Each year, thousands of visitors from around the Northeast and Canada come to Lake George for the Wine & Food Festival. Admission includes a wine glass to sample wines, craft beers, spirits and ciders from dozens of local producers. Enjoy free samples of artisan foods. The festival includes cooking demonstrations, activities for children and food trucks. The Festival is held on the Festival Commons in Wood Park. Lake George Community Band Festival

The Lake George Community Band hosts a gathering of community bands from around the region for a day of free performances on the stage in Shepard Park, noon – 7:30p.m. Band lineup for the 2022 festival TBA. Visit the LGCB website for more information.

Taste of Diamond Point
Diamond Point Community Church

This annual fundraiser allows you to sample the specialties of restaurants and delicatessens along Lake Shore Drive for $1-$2 a taste. Past offerings have included Lobster mac ‘n cheese, penne Bolognese, chili garlic mussels, decadent desserts and a make-your-own sundae station. The event includes raffles and live music.  

July 22

Rock the Dock Music Festival

The Lake George Steamboat Company hosts this festival on the Steel Pier by their iconic ships. The 2022 Festival lineup includes Raisinhead, Glass Pony, O-Man & The Nite Trippers, Chestnut Grove, and Galatic. Several food and artist vendors will be on site. Lake George Art and Craft Festival

More than 125 artists and artisans will set up shop on the Festival Commons the last weekend in July. The Festival includes live music, food and beverages, children’s activities. Visit the Lake George Art and Craft Festival website for a list of vendors and tickets.



Adirondack Winery is holding weekly events this August at their new Queensbury Tasting Room, 395 Big Bay Road, Queensbury (just off of I-87, Exit 18.)

Lake George Rendezvous Boat Show

The Adirondack Chapter of The Antique and Classic Boat Society brings the 48th Annual Antique and Classic Boat Rendezvous to the Village docks on Beach Road. More than 50 boats on display both in and out of the water. Fly-by parade on the Lake at 3 p.m. Saturday.

September 2 – 4 (Labor Day Weekend)
Adirondack Independence Music Festival
Billed as Lake George’s biggest party of the year with reason. This three-day festival features non-stop music from premier touring bands. The festival is held on the Festival Commons in Wood Park. Follow the AIM Festival Facebook page for lineup announcements and ticket information.

Adirondack Nationals Car Show
Brought to Lake George each year by Albany Rods & Kustoms, the Adirondack Nationals Car Show features 1,500+ lovingly restored vintage autos, muscle cars and other pre-1972 vehicles. The car show is held on the grounds of the Fort William Henry Hotel and the Festival Commons in Wood Park. A highlight of the show is the Friday and Saturday night Car Crusin’ when owners of registered vehicles drive a continuous loop through Lake George Village to a cheering crowd. Lake George Arts Project Jazz at the Lake

Polka bands, Bavarian food, rides and games, merchandise vendors and a beer garden are set up under a giant tent on Canada Street in front of Shepard Park.

Lite Up The Village
The Village of Lake George ushers in the holiday season with a holiday sing-along, a lighted fire truck parade, fireworks, and the lighting of thousands of colorful holiday lights in Shepard Park and Blais Park. The festivities begin in Shepard Park and move to the Lake George Firehouse on Ottawa Street for visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus and a concert of holiday music by the Lake George Community Band.
