Where to find Easter Brunch (and a cruise) in Lake George

The ice is moving off the lake and warmer weather is bringing the earth back to life. Easter Sunday 2019 is April 21. Chefs at several Lake George restaurants have created special springtime menus to celebrate the holiday. Here is our roundup of places to find brunch this Easter. Fort William Henry Hotel is serving an Easter Brunch Buffet in their Conference Center with
Seatings at 11:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

The Fort’s buffet includes pastries, fresh fruit, traditional breakfast items and a wide selection of dinner entrees including beef, fish, pork and chicken with savory side dishes. A chef will be carving the Easter ham, which is served with an orange citrus sauce. An assortment of pies, tarts, cakes and mousses adds a sweet finish.

The Steamboat Company is firing up the Lac du Saint Sacrement for two Easter Weekend cruises. The Good Friday Fish Fry cruise is April 19. The Saint embarks at 6 p.m. for this two-hour cruise. The buffet features fried Mahi Mahi, baked cod, mac ‘n cheese, salads, apple dumplings and non-alcoholic beverages.
