Halloween lands on a Monday this year. This gives the grownups an entire weekend to show off their clever costumes, dance and make merry for the lead-up to All Saints’ Day. Here’s a roundup of Lake George establishments that are having parties with costume contests, live music and food and drink specials.

The Haunted Halloween Circus Halloween Party, 9 p.m. Sources at Neptune’s tell us this was planned months ago and has nothing to do with the recent creepy clown phenomena. It’s all in good fun. Neptune’s does a haunted house and costume contest. This year’s prizes:

$300 – Best Group Costume
$100 – Most Creative Costume
$100 – Funniest Costume
The Kicks are playing the Main Stage. There is no cover charge for anyone in costume.
