It’s touted as the “grooviest ice bar in the Adirondacks.” Adirondack Pub & Brewery’s Funky Ice Fest returns for two weekends, Jan. 19-20 and Jan. 26-27, 2024, from 4-9 p.m. each evening, at the brewery, 33 Canada Street, Lake George. The one-of-a-kind ice bar experience features Adirondack Brewery’s craft beer and cocktails served up under the winter moon and a glittering mirror ball. Guests can relive the era of disco with classic arcade games and funky tunes. Guests are encouraged to wear their grooviest threads. The Pub will be handing out afros to complete the vibe.
“Prevent cabin fever,” says Adirondack Pub and Brewery founder John Carr. “Get out and have some fun outdoors dancing under the stars. It’s like a celebration of funk and disco wrapped into one. Every year it grows and becomes more funky and fun.” The ice lounge is complete with a full bar and high-top tables surrounded by ice sculptures including a working ice piano, harp, standup bass, and xylophone as well as animals, crystals and other smaller sculptures. The craft cocktail menu features award-winning spirits from Carr’s distillery, High Peaks Distilling,
Admission to Funky Ice Fest 2024 is free, and free parking is available in the High Peaks Distilling parking lot adjacent to the Brewery. This is an outdoor event. Mittens are suggested.
