Funky Ice Fest 2025 to feature music, dancing, and craft cocktails

Adirondack Pub & Brewery is bringing back its Funky Ice Fest for two weekends of icy fun that encourages guests to embrace the cold temperatures. “It’s cold, so you might as well get out and enjoy it,” says Adirondack Pub and Brewery founder John Carr. Funky Ice Fest will be held in the outdoor beer garden at the Brewery, 33 Canada Street, Lake George, on Jan. 24-25 and Jan. 30-Feb. 1, from 4-9 p.m.

Funky Ice Fest 2025 will have a circus theme and combine funk and disco (the brewery will be handing out afros and spinning a disco ball) with craft beers and cocktails, music and dancing under the winter moon.

The ice bar experience, an ice lounge with a full bar and high-top tables, will feature ice sculptures created by Kirk Sheloski and Anthony Giorgianni of Adirondack Carvers Co-Op.

“This year we have a circus theme,” says Carr, “and you’ve got to see the sculptures. There’s even going to be an ice-sculpted human cannonball and an ice stunt motorcycle perfect for photo ops.” Other circus-themed ice sculptures will include an ice throne, juggling ice animals, and a ring of fire made of ice.

The craft cocktail menu features award-winning spirits from Carr’s distillery, High Peaks Distilling, and guests may order food specials and pub bites made from locally sourced foods. Free parking is available in the High Peaks Distillery parking lot adjacent to the Adirondack Pub and Brewery.
