After a year of virtual performances, the Lake George Arts Project’s Jazz at the Lake is back at the Shepard Park amphitheatre. The festival, now in its 37th year, opens Friday evening, Sept. 17 with a 7 p.m. special multi-media performance, “Blind Visionaries: Daniel Kelly & The Seeing with Photography Collective,” described by Kelly as “the intersection of image and music.”
The jazz continues through the weekend beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18 and 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021. All performances are free and brought to Lake George with support from Kenneth and Susan Gruskin, Derek and Rebecca DeMeo, The Town and Village of Lake George, and the New York State Council on the Arts.

Is there an alternate site if it rains?
The forecast looks good for this weekend, but you could check with Tanya Tobias, Lake George Arts Project Executive Director, at (518)668-2616, in the event of a weather surprise.
Are we allowed to bring chairs and coolers?
Yes!
We have a correction to this comment. According to the Village Hall, coolers are not permitted in Shepard Park during events to discourage alcohol being brought in.
