Kelly’s Angels was founded by NewsChannel 13 anchor/reporter Mark Mulholland in memory of his wife who passed away at the age of 37. Now in its 14th year, the organization has provided hundreds of thousands of dollars in grants and scholarships to Capital Region children and families.

The organization offers grants to help with expenses related to life-threatening illnesses, modest grants to show support to a surviving parent and Fun Grants for children that allow them to buy something special or visit a place that makes them happy.

Kelly’s Angels also offers scholarships to area students who have overcome adversity and have shown a commitment to helping children. The “Hugs for Ukraine” program assists Ukrainian families who were forced by war to flee their homes.

Kelly’s Angels, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit. All donations to the organization are tax deductible under the guidelines of the Internal Revenue Service.
