Residents of the Town and Village of Lake George will be setting up garage sales Saturday, May 6 and Sunday, May 7, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the 2023 Community Garage Sale. Bargain hunters may pick up a garage sale map at Fort William Henry, Shady Business on Canada Street (the West side), or the Lake George United Methodist Church on Montcalm Street.
Residents who wish to have their sale on the map may register at the Village Hall. To be included on the map, sellers must register by Wednesday, May 3. Registered sellers are not required to hold sales on both days. The cost for placement on the map is $15. Proceeds will benefit the C.R. Wood Cancer Center.

The weekdays following the Community Garage Sale are Free-To-All Days. Monday, May 8 through Friday, May 12, residents may leave free items by the curb at the end of their yard. Village and Town residents can leave out anything except mattresses and appliances. All items remaining must be removed by Friday, May 12.
