Lake George BBQ and Blues Festival coming to Wood Park

Craftproducers, organizers of the Lake George Art and Craft Festival held earlier this month, is bringing another event to the Festival Commons of Wood Park Aug. 13-15, 2021. The Lake George BBQ and Blues Festival will feature world-class barbecue and non-stop blues.

Food vendors include award-winning pitmaster Lamar Marshall, Lake George’s own Barnsider BBQ, Capital District’s Corner Grill, and Reggae Boy Café’s Jamaican-styled barbecue with spicy jerk chicken served with traditional rice and beans and collards.

The lineup of food vendors also includes Sarita’s Food Truck offering Spanish Food with an American twist, including homemade Empanadas, quesadillas, Cuban sandwiches and loaded fries, Spacey Tracy’s gourmet pickles, and ice cream from the Ice Cream Man of Greenwich, New York.

The Beer Garden will have Boston Beer Company brews on tap including Samuel Adams Octoberfest, Samuel Adams Boston Lager, Dogfish Head Hazy O, and Angry Orchard Crisp. Lemonade, fresh donuts and other treats will also be available.

Lake George BBQ and Blues Festival Music Schedule

Friday, August 13

  • Soul Sky: 6-7:00 p.m. and 7:15-8 p.m.

Saturday, August 14

  • George Boone Blues Band: 1-2:00 p.m. and 2:30-3:30 p.m.
  • Matt Mirabile Band: 4-5 p.m. and 5:30-6:30 p.m.
  • Sly Fox and the Hustlers: 7-8:00 p.m.

Sunday, August 15

  • The Switch: 1-2:30 p.m. and 3-4:30 p.m.

The Lake George BBQ and Blues Festival includes a marketplace of craft vendors and specialty food producers, pony rides and a petting zoo for the children.

The Festival will be open Friday 4-9 p.m., Saturday 12-9 p.m. and Sunday 12-5 p.m. Admission is $7, which buys a wristband good for the entire weekend. Children ages 12 and younger are free. Pets are not allowed. The Festival Commons at Wood Park is a smoke-free venue.
