The Lake George Fall Restaurant Week runs Sunday, Sept. 10 through Saturday, Sept. 16 with a dozen restaurants offering three-course meals for a fixed price of $20.17. This fall’s participating restaurants and their menus show a wide range of atmospheres and culinary choices, from casual barbecue to elegant linen-on-the-table dining.
The restaurants have created special fall menus of appetizers, entrees and desserts with choices such as seafood fra diavolo and vodka chicken. For meat and potato-lovers, there are plenty of steak options. “We’re lucky to have a restaurant selection in the region that is rich in variety and led by such culinary talent,” says Lake George Chamber of Commerce Marketing Director Amanda May Metzger. “You can really see their creativity in the menus provided by these 12 excellent establishments.”

Since 2007, area restaurants and the Lake George Chamber of Commerce have teamed up for this bi-annual promotion, which runs in June and September. Diners taking advantage of Restaurant Week may complete a survey for a chance to win a dining gift certificate. “As we see from our Restaurant Week surveys, this special week is an introduction for many people to new restaurants. We also see quite a few people from out of town filling out these surveys,” says Metzger.
The $20.17 price does not include beverages, tax and gratuity. Reservations are recommended. This is the last time diners can get a full meal at this rate. Next year, expect the Restaurant Week price to increase by a penny.
