People look forward to the fireworks in Lake George every Thursday night throughout the summer. In past years, these shows have been funded by the Village, but budget constraints left these shows unfunded for summer 2019. The Mayor sent out a request to local businesses asking them to help out, and the Lake George Regional Chamber of Commerce helped secure sponsors. Local businesses got on board and claimed a Thursday night as theirs, with the last open spot being filled last week.
The fireworks are shot from a barge on the lake and may be viewed from anywhere along the Lakefront Walkway. Starting time is 9:30 p.m.
