The Village of Lake George will kick off the holiday season with its annual “Lite up the Village” celebration on Saturday, Nov. 30. The festive celebration, now in its 26th year, is expected to draw a crowd of several thousand to Shepard Park and Canada Street to enjoy live music, fireworks, a lighted firetruck parade and the illumination of holiday lights throughout the village.
Weather permitting, there will be bounce houses in the park and carriage rides through the streets. Many local merchants will have their shops open and will hold sales for those wishing to get a start on their holiday shopping. All events are free of charge.
