Lake George Oktoberfest 2019 to take over Canada Street Columbus Day Weekend

Traffic passing through Lake George this Columbus Day Weekend will be detoured to side streets as the two blocks of Canada Street in front of Shepard Park will be blocked by the Village Oktoberfest Beer Garden. The annual street party kicks off Friday, Oct. 11, at 5 p.m. and continues through 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13 with polka bands, Bavarian food, craft beers and wines, contests, carnival rides, games and merchandise vendors.

Inside the tent, Adirondack Pub & Brewery is serving up German-style food and their own craft beers and hard cider. Live entertainment is scheduled throughout the three-day event.

  1. I enjoyed the Octoberfest with my husband. We were very disappointed that a vendor was selling Trump memorabilia. We didn’t need that and we weren’t there to see that display. You should have reviewed your vendors beforehand because this was not a political event.
