The Adirondack Republican Women’s Club of Warren County is organizing a Trump Boat Parade on Lake George on Saturday, August 17 at 12 p.m. The rain date is August 25, at 12 p.m. The parade will begin on the East Side at Plum Point and travel south to the Village of Lake George where it will cross to the West Side. The parade then will travel north to the Sagamore at Bolton Landing and cross to the East Side where it will return to Plum Point. Boaters will not enter bays along the route.
Smaller boats will lead the parade. Participants must adhere to a 5-mph speed limit when within 100 feet of the shoreline. The maximum speed limit for the on-lake rally is 10 mph. According to an ARWC press notice, boating rules prohibit personal watercraft participation.
There is no fee to participate. Boaters may join the parade at any point. For more information, contact the Adirondack Republican Woman’s Club at ARWCPresident@aol.com, or (518)745-5741.

Absolutely unacceptable–the lake is not a place for a political rally, and they are going to get someone killed. I’ve seen their “5mph” speed limit in previous years–what a joke. The lake was protected by Republicans in State Government years ago, before politics meant plundering the earth and damaging the wild places irrevocably. Our region was an instrumental part of the Underground Railroad. Our history is not that of hatred, oppression, fear, or weird. These deplorables should be ashamed as women, as residents of one of the most beautiful places on earth, and most important–they should stay home in August and in November. What is LGA and DEA going to do to protect the lake? Or do those of us who know better need to organize ourselves?
Oh, how I wish I could attend. I keep hoping that the GOP turns NY RED this election day.
Have the best time ever!!!
