Lake George Village Farmers’ Market returns to Shepard Park

The pandemic forced the Lake George Village Farmers’ Market to cancel its 2020 season, but the Market is coming back. The 2021 season will open next Wednesday, May 26. More than 18 vendors have signed on so far, and they will be selling their products on Canada Street in front of Shepard Park from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

In addition to farm-fresh fruit and vegetables, the Market offers flowers and plants, Mediterranean foods, freshly baked breads by Rachael, art, jewelry and other handcrafted goods. Saratoga Apple will be offering cider and cider doughnuts along with a variety of apples.

Muddy Trail Jerky is presenting a broad selection of dips, spices and rubs along with snack sticks, and, Just in time for Father’s Day shopping, Jake’s Jammin Bow Ties will be selling from their fun line of dog and human bow ties.

The Lake George Village Farmers’ Market is held each Wednesday throughout the summer, rain or shine. Patrons may park for free in spaces directly in front of the Market.
