2018 has been quite a year. Elon Musk launched a red Tesla Roadster into space, and Prince Harry married Meghan Markle at Windsor Castle. A little closer to home (and far more exciting), Americade organizers shut down Canada Street for two days in June holding a massive street party with music and stunt riders, the legendary Charlie Daniels brought his tour to Lake George, and the first Adirondack Christkindlmarkt drew nearly 5,000 visitors to Wood Park on a chilly December weekend.
For everyone that wants to close out the old year and welcome in the new with festivities, many Lake George hotels, restaurants and taverns are throwing New Year’s Eve bashes. They offer everything from formal dinners and dancing to lakeside cocktails and unbridled revelry. Lodging options are available for those who wish to hang up the car keys for the night.
