The Lake George Village Farmers’ Market offers a mix of fresh produce, baked goods, locally produced artisan foods and soaps, artwork and hand-crafted jewelry and textiles. The Market is open each Wednesday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., in front of Shepard Park on Canada Street. The 2021 season began in May and will continue through Sept. 22. Free parking is offered on the street in front of the park.

In addition to orchard-fresh fruits and vegetables, Saratoga Apple offers apple cider, hard cider and cider doughnuts.

Hand-crafted cutting boards

Eileen Russell hand-crafts hardwood cutting boards, wooden bowls, bow kitchen knives and choppers.

Mixed media artist Rosemary Romeo offers unique hand-crafted jewelry, hand-painted shirts and other items that make the name of her business, idontdoordinary, ring true. Romeo operates a shop in The Shirt Factory of Glens Falls.

Shoppers can enjoy a Mediterranean-style lunch at Alaturco Gyro‘s food stand.

beef jerky

Rene and Mary Lussier operate Muddy Trail Jerky Co. The Granville-based company produces many varieties of jerky (free samples are available for each) and a large selection of seasonings, rubs, dips and baking mixes.

Maple Valley Farm of Corinth has been in the Monica family for five generations. They bring maple cotton candy, maple cream, maple sugar and maple syrup to the Lake George Village Farmers’ Market.
