Soul Bloom Music and Wellness Festival coming to Lake George Columbus Day Weekend

A new, unique festival is coming to Wood Park in Lake George Oct.11-13, and it promises to be a transformative event. The Soul Bloom Music and Wellness Festival will integrate music, wellness and art to create “a tapestry of enriching experiences.”

“We are thrilled to bring the Soul Bloom Music and Wellness Festival to Lake George,” says Dave Ehmann, promoter of the Adirondack Independence Music Festival and Memorial Meltdown.“This event transcends a typical festival; it’s a transformative experience crafted to build community, spark creativity, and promote holistic wellness. Whether you’re drawn by the music, the mindfulness, or the community connection, Soul Bloom offers something truly meaningful.”

In a Facebook post, Ehmann announced that organizers are making the festival free to all Warren County residents in gratitude to the Warren County Tourism Department, the Village of Lake George and the Town of Lake George for their unwavering support of his events. Warren County residents need only show a valid ID with a Warren County address at the gate or residents can guarantee a spot by picking up free tickets online at theTicketingco and selecting Warren County Residents from the menu.

The festival will feature a lineup of national touring bands and wellness experiences including yoga sessions, ecstatic dance, breathwork classes, and sound healing ceremonies. Attendees are invited to participate in compassion circles, drum circles, vocal workshops, and mindfulness sessions designed to inspire and connect. Interactive workshops will feature beaded leathercraft, potential beatboxing, energy explorations, and storytelling.

Food and beverage vendors, including craft beers and wines, will be onsite as well as merchandise vendors offering wellness products.

For non-Warren County residents, ticket prices are $60 for a Friday General Admission, $70 for Saturday or Sunday General Admission, $140 for Sat/Sun General Admission and $165 General Admission Weekend Pass. Children aged 12 and younger are admitted free. VIP tickets with extra perks are also available.

“As we commemorate Indigenous People’s Day,” says Village of Lake George Mayor Ray Perry, “the Soul Bloom Music and Wellness Festival offers a unique platform to celebrate wellness, creativity, and community spirit in Lake George. This festival is a testament to our town’s commitment to diversity and cultural enrichment, and we are excited to support it.”

Gates open at 3 p.m. Friday, and 9 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Visit the Soul Bloom Festival Website for more information and to purchase tickets. Metered parking ($2 per hour) is available on surrounding streets and in public parking lots.
