The World Awareness Children’s Museum is holding its 32nd Annual International Cuisine Dinner on Sunday, May 22, 4:30 – 8 p.m. at the Six Flags Great Escape Lodge & Waterpark in Queensbury. The event is the museum’s largest fundraiser of the year and features a selection of international foods prepared by chefs from area restaurants.
Participating restaurants include Morgan and Co., Grateful Den, Raul’s Mexican Grill, Alif Cafe, Aroy Dee, Tandoori Grill, Rock Hill Bakehouse and Darling Donuts. The evening also includes a raffle, a live auction and a silent auction of goods donated by local and national organizations and businesses.
The theme of this year’s International Cuisine Dinner is “Thailand” in recognition of the Museum’s latest hands-on exhibit, “Thailand: Beauty & Beasts.” Tickets are $125 plus fees for adults and $110 plus fees for young professionals up to age 35. Tickets may be purchased online at ticketleap.com.

The World Awareness Children’s Museum is a 501(c)(3) organization. Established in 1995, the Museum’s mission is to bring the world’s diversity to children. Its collection of more than 8,000 artifacts, including fashions, musical instruments, toys, and more than 7,000 works of international children’s art come from 140 countries.
