Warrensburgh Farmers’ Market to host Adirondack Artisans

The Warrensburgh Riverfront Farmers’ Market will be holding its Gathering of Artisans Festival on Friday, August 16, from 3-6 p.m. This year’s festival will be held under the pavilion at the Warrensburg Recreation Field on Library Avenue. The event features “Made in the Adirondacks” hand-crafted work, gourmet foods and fine art with demonstrations, crafts and face painting for children and book signings.

The market’s regular vendors will be offering samples and sales of locally produced produce, cheeses, maple products, poultry, eggs, baked goods, pickles and preserves. Visitors can pick up seasonal recipes and gardening advice at the Warren County CCE Master Gardener station.

Visiting artisans will include Adirondack Highland Designs, Adirondack Winery, …And Sew It Goes, As You Wish Signs & Gifts, Budev Designs, Calico Corner, Caspar’s Candles, Cover Your Sass Boutique, DJ Renner Books, Guior Glass, Kat’s Kowgirl Krafts, Kelmview Farm, Knives by Adirondack Joe, Landscape Painting by Kaena Peterson, Little River Crafts, Molly Whalen Studios, Personalized & Themed Items by Patty LaFountain, Simply Garlic, Spring Hill Farm, TLC Homestead & Crafts, Tin Shed Wood Shop and Woods End Soap.

Courtly Music will provide live music, and to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the market sponsor, Warrensburgh Beautification, Inc., visitors may enjoy cake created by Marlene DeLongis. Lower Adirondack Search and Rescue will be selling tickets for a kayak and canoe raffle, and shoppers will have the opportunity to win $20 in Farmers’ Market Bucks, which may be spent with market vendors.
