Warrensburg Farmers’ Market to celebrate blueberries

The Warrensburgh Riverfront Farmers’ Market will be holding its 3rd Annual Blueberry Festival on Friday, July 22, 3-6 p.m. The Market is located in the Historic Warrensburg Mill District Park on River Street in Warrensburg across from Curtis Lumber. The Market will feature early and late varieties of freshly picked local berries, preserves, cheeses, baked goods and distilled blueberry-enhanced beverages.

Warren County Master Gardeners and local experts in the field of blueberry cultivation will be on hand with information and advice for those who wish to grow their own. The festival includes food and beverage sampling and live music with Peter Burrall. Free coffee is offered in the gazebo. Richards Library Director Shelby Burkhardt is bringing Take & Make Crafts and Hand & Arm painting for children attending the festival.
