4th Annual Blueberry Festival to be held at Warrensburgh Riverfront Market

The Warrensburg Riverfront Farmers’ Market is holding its Annual Blueberry Festival on Friday, July 21, 3-6 p.m. Shoppers will have the opportunity to purchase different varieties of locally grown berries, shop for blueberry-infused preserves, baked goods, cheeses and beverages produced by Warren County producers.

Participating farms and businesses include Adirondack Harvest (Hildy & Ashley Monroe), Baked By Marlene at J. Gallup Farm, Calico Corner, Cover Your Sass Boutique, Dawn’s Delights, For the Love of Rocks, Glens Falls Distillery, High Peaks Distillery/Adirondack Brewery, Juniper Hill Farm, Kelm View Farm, Kim Dolan Design, Mac’s Pipes & Accessories, Nettle Meadow Cheese Farm, North Country Microgreens, Northeast Corner Herb Farm, PaperPie, Penny Creek Candle Company, Sugar Mountain Cookies and Trillium Farm.

Warren County Master Gardeners and local blueberry experts will be on hand with information for those who wish to grow their own blueberries.

The Blueberry Festival will have free tastings of blueberry foods and beverages. Richard Library Director Shelby Burkhardt will be leading hands-on crafting for children with Take & Make craft kits, and Megan Pierce will be face painting. Live music in the gazebo will be provided by Courtly Music Unlimited.

Shoppers may enter to win $20 in Farmers’ Market Bucks to spend with the market’s vendors.

The Warrensburg Riverfront Farmers’ Market is in Warrensburg’s Historic Mill District on River Street across from Curtis Lumber. Parking is free and plentiful.
