The Lake George Region Women for Women in Need (WIN) is holding a New Member Mixer on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Lake George Beach Club on Lower Montcalm Street.
The mixer is an opportunity for anyone interested in joining the organization to meet and mingle with current members and learn about WIN’s work. The event includes a buffet dinner and cash bar. Entertainment for the mixer will be provided by Bobbie Dick and Susie Q.
Women for WIN is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit that aids women and families who need food, clothing, medical services, home fuel, transportation costs and shelter. WIN also works with other organizations that support families.
Originally organized in Lake George by the Business and Professional Women’s Foundation in 1986, WIN was granted IRS 501(c)(3) status in 2012, allowing them to work beyond the workplace. The organization serves women and families in Warrens, Washington, Saratoga and Essex Counties.
